Elementary School
To be in Elementary School you have to be greater than or equal to 5th grade.
There is a check through this student because she is less than or equal to 5th grade (less than).
There is an x through this student because he is over 5th grade, if he where less than or equal to 5th grade he would be allowed in elementary classes.
The reason I used a closed dot is because if your in 5th grade you can still be in elementary, and the ray is pointed to the left because it has to be equal to or less than 5th.
To have Facebook you have to be greater than or equal to 13.
There is a check through this man because he is greater than or equal to 13, allowing him to have Facebook.
There is an X through this child because he is less than 13 years old.
I made my dot closed because if you have Facebook you have be at least thirteen, but I put the ray going to the right because if your older than 13 you can have it too.
U13 Soccer
To play in the U13 soccer league you have to be less than or equal to 13.
There is a check through this picture because they are allowed to lay in the U13 soccer league because they are 13 or less
I put an X through this because these players are over 13, not allowing them to play U13 Soccer.
My graph has a closed dot because it can be 13, but the ray goes to the left because it could also be left.
Driving A Car
To drive a car you have to be greater than 16.
This toddler is not legally allowed to drive because he is under the age of 16.
The adult driving the car is 16 years old or more, he is legally allowed to drive this vehicle because he is 16 or older, but if he wasn't, he would not be allowed to drive.
My dot is closed because you can be 16 or older and drive, and my ray is pointing to the right because if you are younger than 16 you cannot drive.
Legally An Adult
To legally be an adult you have to be greater than 18.
