Dear Pawsome Loring Families,
I wanted to share the fabulous bulletin board created by Mrs. Mosby and her first grade class. This was displayed in our hallway throughout last month and I missed getting it into my last newsletter.
Masks will continue to be required in the health office. Please plan to put a mask in your child's backpack in case they need to visit the health office.
At-Home Test Kits
Families will be able to choose between the Thursday morning pickup (in the car line) or having their students bring the kits home in backpacks. Please make sure you know what you have chosen so you are not getting a test kit in the car line and also having one sent home in a backpack. If you would like to change how your child's test is distributed please email Mrs. DiBona.
Weekly Surveillance Testing
We will continue to do our weekly surveillance testing on Wednesday mornings. On Thursdays, we will retest the positive pools. If your child is retested, you will receive an email from CIC. If your child is retested and found positive, you will receive a phone call from our nurse.

Cradles to Crayons Pajama Drive
Hello Loring Families!
The 5th Grade has begun their annual Cradles to Crayons Pajama Drive. Now through March 15th you can donate *NEW* pajamas for kids of all ages. Pajamas can be left in the donation bins that will be in the lobby and at side school entrances.
Monetary donations can also be made in the form of a check made payable to Cradles to Crayons (Please do not write the check out to the Loring PTO) Students should deliver checks to their classroom teacher or Mrs. Danielson in the art room. (Unfortunately, gift cards cannot be accepted for this drive) A $10 donation equals 1 pair of pajamas. Each and every donation counts. Let's help make this drive a huge success and keep children all over Massachusetts cozy and warm this winter! Thank you!
