Muenster Elementary School Awarded the ExxonMobil Education Alliance Grant

Muenster Elementary School has been awarded the ExxonMobil Education Alliance Grant to help enrich math and science instruction. The grant of $500 was made possible by funding from the ExxonMobil Corporation through Bayer's Kolonialwaren in Muenster, Texas. This grant is part of a program that supports schools in communities that are served by ExxonMobil stations. The ExxonMobil Education Alliance grant will be used for the next generation of students to pursue studies in math and science.

Thank you, ExxonMobil, Douglass Distributing, and Bayer's Kolonialwaren!

What can you do in 100 seconds?

What can you do in 100 seconds? These 1st grade students worked with partners while Mrs. Huchton timed them for 100 seconds. One counted and recorded while the other did the activity. The students then recorded the results on paper. They counted how many jumps and claps along with the number of times they could say the alphabet and write their name in 100 seconds. These students had so much fun collecting and recording data. Thanks to Mrs. Huchton for another fun learning activity! #GreatThingsatMISD

COVID-19 Protocols & Face Coverings

Muenster ISD Campus Procedures Related to COVID-19 (Details & Flowchart)

Face coverings (Updated Nov. 2020)

Face coverings are required for all staff and all students PK-12th. Face shields may be used in place of a mask to protect eyes, nose, and mouth whenever a mask is not feasible or whenever the educational context may benefit from the ability to see an individual’s full face.

2020-2021 Bus Protocols

  • NO EXTRA RIDERS - Students can NOT bring extra riders with them on the route buses.

  • Students may ONLY be dropped off at the stop on file with the transportation department.

  • Students and other passengers are to wear a mask while on the bus.

  • The seat behind the driver is to be left open.

  • Students are to sit one to a seat.

  • Every other row is to be left open.

  • When students enter the bus, they are to sit in their assigned seat (same seat every time - no moving to new seats during route).

Transportation Forms

All students that will ride the bus, must fill out this form prior to riding a bus.
