- Number Talks-Have you tried using Splat yet?
- Sentence Stems must be posted.
- Quality Questions: Post them next to your calendar.
- Begin with the basics (birthdays, months, number line, etc) full plan on September on September 1st.) Add in the Shape Tree Maps and number Circle Maps
- Logic Talk Posters: When to begin? Do you have what you need? I found some in the closet and passed on to Claudine.
Unit 2: Numbers to 10 Assessment is October 5th.
- Share what activities you have in rotations for numbers to 10.
- Share any activities for 2.5: one more, one less and the same. (Domino War)
- Ask students to label the objects in the pictures.
- Is fun to act out the Missing Numbers activity on p. 51.
Step books for numbers 1-10. Students can draw a ten frame or glue one in for the picture or objects to draw or glue.

- K.7A- give an example of a measurable attribute of a given object, including length, capacity, and weight.
- K.7B- Compare two objects. Must practice how to line up the ends and such.
- Use paper clips or the links to measure in a station.
- Vocabulary cards must have a picture with them. Do you still have the ones I gave you last year?
