Student Services Team

Albemarle Road Elementary School Student Services is a multi-disciplinary team comprised of professionals including community liasions, intervention team specialist, counselors, psychologists and social workers with expertise in social-emotional care, academics, home/family life and health. The mission of student services department is to serve, empower and prepare students for college and the competitive world beyond. Our vision is to work collaboratively in removing barriers so that all students can succeed.

Attendance Matters

Talk to your scholar about the importance of coming to school. Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school and themselves. Start buiding this habit in kindergarten so they learn that going to school on time, every day is important. Good atendance will help children do well in school, college and at work. Bully-Free Zone

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Bullying impacts us all. When you demonstrate healthy conflict-resolution skills, your scholar will be empowered to do the same. Talk to your scholar about ways to intervene when they witness bullying behavior and how to report it to an adult. To start the conversation with your scholar visit

School wide behavior management system that thrives on empathy and choices. Our goal is to implement this system of support so that office refferals and suspensions will decrease school wide by 25% from last years measured by EOY 2015-2016 CMS incident portal report.
