Ahoy from the Burnet STREAM Team!

Welcome back to our in-person learners! We are so happy to see you back at school! We would like to thank all of our parents and students for your patience and for helping to make our back-to-school process as smooth as possible.

Please continue to help us in the following ways:

- Wear your mask every day!

- Bring your district-issued Chromebooks with you to school each day

- Parents, please take note of our dismissal procedures below-- we are working on making this process faster and we appreciate your continued cooperation!

Campus Dates

10/5 INSTRUCTIONAL DAY-- STUDENTS ATTEND REGULAR SCHOOL DAY- Due to closures for Tropical Storm Beta, we will use this this previously scheduled Parent Conference day as an instructional make-up day.

10/19 SAIL Opt-outs return to campus

10/21 Early Release CANCELED- regular full day schedule will be followed

10/21 9W1 Report Cards

10/26-10/30 Red Ribbon Spirit Week (see below for schedule)

10/27 Virtual Literacy Night 5:30 - 6:15 pm - Website TBD

Parents: Students will not be admitted into the building until 7:20. If you arrive at the campus before 7:20, please have your student remain in the vehicle until the doors are open. In the morning, please only use the left-most lane to drop off students.

Halloween Lunch Bags

School lunch will be served in these fun Halloween bags on Friday, October 30th. Only students who eat lunch provided by the school will receive a bag, so plan accordingly!

Welcome Back from SAIL!

If you have opted out of SAIL and are returning to in-person learning, we welcome you back to campus on Monday, October 19th! Please see below for important transition information:

Dismissal Procedures

Car Riders - ALL cars must enter from 57th street. No entry to any parking lots will be permitted from Avenue S. Pre-K cars ONLY should utilize the left lane/Lane 1-- if you have a student in Pre-K AND in another grade, please do not use this lane. All other cars should pick up students from the right lane/Lane 2. Please keep an empty lane in between cars to ensure the safety of our students. Please see the diagram below clarification.

Walkers - Walkers can be collected from Exit 3C (fenced playground area). Please maintain social distancing while waiting for students. Parents- for your own safety, please be sure to use the designated crosswalk on Avenue S.
