St Bernadette's School Newsletter
4th May 2022
Welcome back to term 2!
Orange traffic light
For you this means;
- whānau and visitors are welcome back in to school.
- if you are coming inside we ask you to sign in and wear a mask properly over your nose and mouth.
- we would appreciate you keeping some distance from other peoples' children. This means waiting on the deck would be preferred to the corridors where there is not much space.
For us this means;
- We continue to wear masks inside.
- We are focused on keeping indoor spaces well ventilated.
- Children and teachers do a great job with good cough and sneeze etiquette.
- We focus on good hygiene with hand washing and santitising.
We know there is still some covid in our community and we appreciate you keeping us informed of what is happening with your family.

New Newsletter, website and app
It is great to see more and more people using the app. We are now up to 70 users. This is especially handy for us to communicate up to date information to you and you letting us know about absences or sending messages through. Our app will improve and grow in time as we put more and more on it, it will become more and more useful.
To get the app on your device go to the app store. Search "SchoolAppsNZ" and download the app onto your device. Then search St Bernadette's School in that app.
Attendance dues
Please do not let attendance dues be a stress for you and your family. Regular payments are the best way to go but if at anytime you are worried about attendance dues - please come and see me. I can help.
