The Board has directed Superintendent Dr. Terry Alban to work collaboratively with the three associations representing FCPS employees in order to return as many students as possible this school year while adhering to health protocols.
FCPS is dedicated to providing the community with updates as we continue progressing together through this global health crisis that has challenged us all.
Teachers may require students to log back on from home from 2:30-3:00 for small group instruction, reteaching, or pre-teaching content. Please check with your student and help them to remember to log in at 2:30. Thanks!
Please remind all hybrid students to bring their Chromebook, supply bag, water bottle, whiteboards and markers. Thanks!
In the afternoon, car riders will leave through the cafeteria when their parent/guardians arrive. Every family is assigned a family number which will be sent home on the first day of school. For car rider pick up, please display this number in the driver’s side corner of the windshield. We use this number system to call students to the cars. Walkers will exit through the special’s hallway. Bus riders will be called from the classroom when their bus is ready for boarding. Dismissal is at 2:00pm.

COUNSELORS CORNER WITH MS. ZAMBRENY
From the School Counselor
This week, I have started meeting with 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms for Q4 guidance lessons. 2nd and 3rd graders are learning about perseverance and goal setting. Students are encouraged to make a goal related to school for Q4, think about the obstacles that might get in the way, and make a plan for how they are going to achieve the goal.
