Wins for the Week!
1. Our 7th and 8th grade chorus students put on a beautiful concert Tuesday night. With Mrs. Loving accompanying on the piano, Ms. Davis and her students sang a variety of songs in preparation for LGPE in March. Great job everyone!
2. Thank you to all of our teachers and staff for another successful Early Release. Your time spent with parents and students is invaluable and we appreciate your commitment to the success of your students.
3. Congratulations to Mrs. Birmingham and our art students who attended the Shuttersense and Nonsense art show. Our students swept the entire photography category by earning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. We are so proud of all of you!
4. On Monday, we had the opportunity to welcome Georgia State Senator P.K. Martin as he honored our very own Laura Ross. We are so proud of Laura and her great achievements!
5. Thank you to Jeni Greene for helping us successfully launch Outlook! This new system has so much to offer, and Jeni has been a tremendous support as we learn all of this new information.

If you have not yet gone to the media center to pick up your new Grasshopper (the new IPVO document camera from the retrofit), please take this opportunity to do so! I PROMISE you they are SOOOO much better than the Lady Bugs, the image is RIDICULOUSLY clear and they are simple to operate- plug and play.
If you don't have one, put in a ticket for Carl to push the software to you, and if you want it on your student laptop please indicate the number of that device in the ticket. That information can be found on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop.
TRUST ME, you won't be sorry!!!!
