Italy
Otherwise known as the Italian Republic
Italy is a republic, and has always been a part of the European Union, since 1952. Italy has been a part of other empires and countries throughout history. It is a peninsula in the Mediterranean Sea, next to the Tyrrhenian Sea, and Adriatic Sea. Italy is also home to the Apennine Mountains. Some places to visit are the Leaning Tower of Pisa just to see it, pizza parlors and bakeries to try the different foods, and the Panthenon to see where famous kings are buried.
Rome
In Rome (capital), there are many buildings and actvities, some of which being the colosseums, and Panthenon.
Venice
The main transportation in Venice is boat. Because Venice's land is submerged, it's very unlikely to see cars.
Belogna
Belogna is the seventh most populated city in Italy, in the Apennine Mountains.
Genoa
Genoa is a city found on mountain slopes, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Milan
Home to the Milan Cathedral, Milan is a very large city found in a valley in Italy.
Italy's Flag
Italy's flag is typically has a green, white, and red stripe, sometimes with a symbol in the middle.
Interesting Facts
Italy is sometimes known as the boot country, because it's shaped like a boot. Italy is also home to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. When McDonald's, in 1986, opened in Italy, protesters outside the fast food restaurant provided free pasta.
