State-of-the-art STEM Lab

Did you know that students at Centerra Mirage STEM Academy have access to many STEM experiences in our state-of-the-art lab? Here students are working on audio communications, laser technology, engineering/robotics, digital musing and environment/ecology units.

We Have The Code!

Second grade students are learning binary code in their STEM class! We are excited to teach technology concepts, such as coding, to even our youngest learners here.

ROTC Vistors At Michael Anderson

Agua Fria High School ROTC leaders visited Michael Anderson School and spoke with our eighth graders about their responsibilities and duties. Thank you for mentoring our students, as they prepare to embark high school in a few months and explore their continuing opportunities.

After The Bell: Learning Opportunities Continue

AESD is proud to have received The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant. Through this targeted grant, we are able to provide Beyond-the-Bell programming for students in grades 1st through 8th. This includes specific academic tutoring, academic enrichment and activities including dance, art, STEAM and opportunities for collaboration.

Michael Anderson: His Everlasting Legacy

Dream big, work hard - more than just a motto, but words lived by from Michael Anderson, NASA astronaut and AESD alum. Our school, named after him, is proud to continue to share his legacy to our children. We remember who he was in today's episode with stories from his younger sister, Brenda Danielly.
