Dear Graham Falcons,
What a wonderful week of celebration to wrap up! Between Girls on the Run and their successful completion of a 5K Race in Chicago, all the way to the 25th Anniversary Celebration and Kane County Cougars game, this week was an excellent example of the wonderful community that has been built at Graham.
A heartfelt congratulations goes out to all involved in the planning of the 25th Anniversary event. From the PTA to our staff advisory board, everyone who assisted in this event put great attention into creating an opportunity to share memories and reminisce on student success in incredibly impactful ways. What was a culmination of many hours of work on everyone's part, came to fruition with an event that truly honored V. Blanche Graham, and the role our school continues to play in the community.
Through this and other end of year events, we celebrate the past, the present, and the future of Graham Elementary. The past was an acknowledgment of 25 years of educational impact, seen through former students and staff returning to reminisce and celebrate. The present was in the wonderful activities our students participated in to strengthen their minds and bodies. And the future—tomorrow, is in the families who have attended Graham, and are now set to send their Kindergartners to join us as the next generation of Falcons.
Humbly, thank you for letting us be a part of your student's lives for the last 25 years, and thank you for your support as we continue to pursue 25 more.
Sincerely,
Ms. Walton
Clothes Needed For Nurses Office
The nurses office is looking for new or gently used clothes for the nurses closet.
The clothes closet is a vital resource that accommodates Graham students who need a change of clothes during the school day for a variety of reasons. The strongest need is for Graham t-shirts or sweatshirts in all sizes, as they are a neutral item and pose less noticeable disruptions for students when worn.
Additional items that are needed in all sizes and neutral colors are: ankle socks, girls tights, elastic pants for boys and girls, and light jackets. All items can be turned in to the front office. Thank you!

The "Last 8 Days Of School" Themes!
Although it’s hard to believe the school year is coming to an end, we are rapidly approaching the last 8 days of school. We know your students have worked incredibly hard under unprecedented circumstances and deserve a special treat. Therefore, we will be counting down the last 8 days of school, with each day having a special theme or activity.
Your child may wear a certain color or bring something to school for a specific day, so keep this note handy. Please feel free to celebrate as many or as few activities as you’d like! The themes for each day are as follows:
Parents’ Night Out at the YMCA is the perfect opportunity for parents to take some time for themselves while their children have pizza and play with their peers at the Y under the supervision of trained YMCA staff. Activities include themed arts & crafts, games on the courts, and inflatable bounce houses! A win-win evening for families!
Dates Include:
May 20th, June 24th, July 29th, August 26th, September 30th,
