INTRODUCTION: ABOUT THEM AND WHY THEY NEED TO BE PROTECTED
Spiny leaf insects live on the costal lines of NSW and run down to Queensland. They like tropical areas and like eating eucalyptus leaves and roes bushes.
They have to be protected because other animals won`t have a food source and they are an interesting creature.
NO ANTS IS A PROBLEM FOR THE PHASMIDS!
the ants are a big help to phasmids.when the female lay`s their eggs they drop down into the leaf litter, and the ants collect them. The ants look after the eggs until they hatch. The nymphs (babies) look like the ants and have similar diet`s.
STOP PEOPLE KILLING ANTS!
We have to stop people killing ants because if there is no ants there would not be any phasmids.
