You will be asked to use an app called iNaturalist, which provides a place to record observations and get help with species identification from scientists. Learn More About iNaturalist.
Don't forget to bring your cell phones and charger.

Arbor Day April 27, 2018: Support the Social Studies Standards and Informational Reading Standards with a Celebration!
The web site below provides information about J. Sterling Morton and his work to establish the celebration of Arbor Day. It provides free printable resources, ideas and materials for planning an event, as well as, several other free resources to create and inspire community service. This historical account is an excellent example of human systems and human interactions with their environment in a positive way. The materials are also an excellent springboard for discussions about civic participation and the process required to have a positive influence in our communities.
