A Discussion on Faith and Science:
With Guest Speaker Dr. Matthew J. Temple, O.Carm., PhD
Would Jesus Have Made a Good Biologist?
The Center for Spirituality invites you for lunch and an academic reflection on the intersection of science and religion. On Tuesday, February 20th, Dr. Matthew Temple will be leading us in a critical examination of questions like: "Would Jesus have made a good biologist?" and "How can science and faith be vigorous companions in seeking truth?" The presentation and discussion will attempt to take a critical, yet lighthearted look, at how science and religious faith are in relationship with one another.
Dr. Matthew Temple is a Nazareth professor in biology and Catholic priest in the order of the Carmelites.
This lunch discussion is open to all. No need to RSVP. If you are planning to bring a class, please email the Center for Spirituality (spirituality@naz.edu) to let us know for the purpose of ordering food.
