HUNDREDS OF JAPANESE FIGHTERS BOMB PEARL HARBOR
THE MORNING OF DECEMBER 7TH.
Just before 8 am on December 7, 1941, Japanese fighter planes flew over the Hawaiian island of Oahu, killing 2000 american soldiers and 1000 were left wounded. The Japanese destroyed nearly 20 American vessels.
A few days later, The United States president, Franklin Roosevelt, Was given permission from congress to declare war on the Japanese. A few days later, Germany and Japan Declared war on the United States, bringing the US into WWII.
