Standards Based Grading and Reporting
Like teachers, parents need accurate and meaningful information, particularly about their child’s strengths and areas where growth is needed. As a result, the district has implemented Standards Based Grading. This system allows your child to know exactly what is expected in each content area and provides parents with a more detailed outline of learning expectations and student progress. We believe this is the key to student success.
Please visit the link below to be directed to site with further information regarding this transition. As always, should you have any questions regarding your child's progress towards grade level standards, please contact your child's teacher. Our partnership is vital to our students' success!

TOWERS and TOWERS of books were read in September! So, we celebrated with ICE CREAM! Life is good!
Each family will be scheduled a 15 minute conference with their child's teacher. We try our very best to schedule siblings as close together as possible. These times will be sent home in your child's folders closer to the conference date. If your scheduled time does not work, please contact your child's teacher to find an alternate time or date to discuss your child's progress.
Students my bring their costumes to school to change into after lunch. We will spend the afternoon rotating through various Halloween themed Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) activities.
