Johannes Kepler
An Astronomy Genius
Before The Astronomic Life
Kepler was always getting sick as a child. His hands were always crippled. His eyes were damaged by diseases. He suffered mainly from smallpox. Even though he faced difficulties, guests at his grandfathers’ hotel were amazed at his mind! He could solve any problem to having to do with math. However, his mother, Katharina, was a herbalist. She tried to show her love of the nature to her son. She liked to take him out at night to show him the most amazing things in the sky. Kepler got the chance to see a comet and a lunar eclipse. At 6, he saw the Great comet of 1577, which ended up selling his future to him.
When she did that, she showed her son something that would end up making him a worldwide known phenomenon.

What Makes Kepler Remarkable?
Kepler has discovered the truth of the planet's orbits. He is known for proving planets eliptical orbits. That is what he is know for. Proving planets orbits. Wouldn't it be a shame if you forgot that. Like, really, remember that. and he also could conform 1041 planets. He even had to deal with science violently clashing with his religion. Christianity and science did not agree. He designed telescopes, rockets, and drew out things that only make sense today, but back in 'the day' it was crazy. Surprisingly, Kepler was never proven right, until after his death! He even found a way to get planets trough light curves.
"I demonstrate by means of philosophy that the earth is round, and is inhabited on all sides; that it is insignificantly small, and is borne through the stars."
Five Fun Facts

"... the ways by which men arrive at knowledge of the celestial things are hardly less wonderful than the nature of these things themselves"
