THE VISION
Saint Vincent de Paul School, acknowledging its century-old legacy while envisioning its future, will excel in providing an educational environment where students take risks and challenge assumptions by embracing experiential opportunities, learning to think innovatively, and growing courageously in their relationships with God.

The Administration and the Advisory Board, want to thank all community members who took the time to complete the parent survey in November 2022. Data collected has been disaggregated by the Administration and members of the Advisory Board.
Forty-six percent of our parent community responded to the survey. Below you will find a summary of the findings and graphs encapsulating the results from the survey.
Seventy-nine percent of respondents indicated they are either highly satisfied or satisfied with their student's overall experience at Saint Vincent de Paul School and seventy-seven percent indicated satisfaction with the current school year.
________________
Respondents rated a list of attributes according to their satisfaction with each one.
The survey results demonstrate that ninety-eight percent of parents are highly satisfied / satisfied with the Sense of Community at the school, eighty-eight percent are highly satisfied / satisfied with the Faith Formation and Values at the school, and eighty-six percent are either highly satisfied / satisfied with the Academic Excellence at the school.
These top three attributes align with how respondents described Saint Vincent de Paul School's areas of strength (see below).
________________
Respondents were asked to describe Saint Vincent de Paul's top three areas of strength and top three areas of improvement.
As noted above, the top three areas of strength align to the attributes that respondents identified as areas of high satisfaction - academics / instruction, community, faith / character development. The top three attributes identified as areas of improvement were communication, co-curricular subjects, and discipline.
Effective communication is important to the success of any organization, and with the advancement of technologies and living in the post-pandemic era we, like many, are working toward finding the best modes of communication for our community members without overwhelming our audience.
Some of our channels of communication include:
Clear communication channels: SchoolSpeak - Student Management System; school newsletter - Smore platform, teacher newsletters, Parent Guild Reminders
Community Handbook and update notifications
Website - svdpsf.com
Social Media platform - Instagram
Most comments pertaining to co-curriculars and discipline were closely tied to communication and the need to understand changes / updates to procedures and policies. There were comments about the co-curriculars related to the absence of a Spanish instructor and a desire to learn more about co-curricular content being taught across grade levels.
Here at SVDP, we are grateful for your candor and honesty when filling out the parent survey. We are continually looking to improve our practice and are committed to creating a learning environment where all members - students, teachers, and parents can grow and thrive.
Blessings!
