Assistant Principals' Corner
Homeroom Teachers,
Please review the email sent from Karen Hynnenin today regarding YTD Averages. Ashley will be working with you to resolve issues. Several of you reviewed the document for your homeroom and sent me an email with the specific issue and name(s) of student.
Samples of email content sent to me today:
"The gaps for Kingston are because mid year, he switched from Underwood to my class and I’m assuming that’s why his grades for Q1 and Q2 are blank."
"A. Cooks – he was brand new to school right before we were released. I did not have any reading grades for him."
The more specific the information, as show in these samples, the easier it will be for me to help rectify the situation.

Schoology tip
- Walk kids through your Schoology assignments on your Zoom live lesson so they are able to complete them independently
- Add badges or Dojo points based on the activities they complete
- Send reminders to parents the mornings of your live Zoom lessons
Reminder from Ms. Vogt
Hello Park Street Family!
Some of you may remember this from the beginning of this year, but if not, here it goes! Crayola has a recycling program called ColorCycle where they take any brand of markers, dry erase markers, and highlighters and recycle/repurpose them FOR FREE! All we have to do is collect the markers! I have already placed boxes in the break room in the main building and the Panther Den in the back for you to place your unwanted markers as you clean/pack up your rooms over the next few weeks. As of right now, the program is temporarily on pause due to the Coronavirus, but I will still be collecting the markers and will send them to Crayola when they are back up and running. So, instead of throwing them away, please place them in the cardboard boxes in the Panther Den and the Teacher’s Lounge in the front building (I will be putting out more boxes when I get to school on Monday). I just need any and all plastic markers, dry erase, and highlighters (but please NO CRAYONS OR COLORED PENCILS) placed in the boxes, then I will do the rest! Thank you for your help in saving the planet, one marker at a time J
Design Team
Also, we may go with a different furniture company in order to save money on our order and keep the extra storage cabinet. I may need you all to help me with color selections if we cannot get what we wanted in the first order.

GROW
Parent device and hotspot pick up

Student portfolios to next grade level
Instead, please complete your student data cards with as much accurate information as possible. Please add teacher notes and details regarding student performance.
Supplies for students
Please remind parents that they do not do the Pearson books in-place of the Schoology lesson, but instead these can help students as they work through their math lessons on Schoology.
Lastly, I need a crew of volunteers that are willing to help organize and distribute these student donations bags. Our goal is to try and distribute these at the end if next week. I do need one very organized person to take lead and be the point person for this project. Please let me know if you are interested.

Tip from Ms. Cheney
I found this Covid 19 time capsule and thought the older grades might like it. https://docs.google.com/document/d/12-VM0989beVABcgDSttIo2q8KdxrLqJ1FD28Icv0upo/mobilebasic
