Important Reminders
1. We invite you to walk your student(s) to class on Monday August 23rd ONLY. We request that parents make a quick drop-off and make every effort to depart campus by 8:40 am so that we can launch the school day. We do have kindergarten staggered enrollment over the first three days of school. These families will be welcome to walk their student to class on the designated first day. Families are strongly encouraged to wear masks during their short visit to our campus. If you plan to walk your student to class, Please plan to park in the satellite parking lot. See the map below. Staff will be in place to direct you as you arrive each morning.
2. Our first bell rings at 8:10 and our late bell is at 8:30am. Car riders will be released at 3:20 and bus riders at 3:30.
3. All cars need to have the child's name tag displayed in the car windshield daily. Those who do not have a tag displayed will be asked to park and come inside to pick up their child.
4. Please make sure your child's teacher knows how they are to go home the first week of school and thereafter.
5. Please return bus locator forms to the bus drivers as soon as possible, this will make afternoon drop-offs run smoothly.
6. As bus drivers adjust to their new routes, students may be dropped off in the
afternoons a little later than their scheduled times. Please be patient with us. Download the APP for up to the minute information on bus delays. See below for more information.
7. Please pay all school fees within the first ten days of school. All school fees are paid on line this year. You can find information and links below.
8. We will continue our policy of no early checkouts after 3:00pm.
9. Masks are to be worn at all times while on the bus. This is a county policy.

CAR RIDER INFORMATION
The safe transportation of all children attending Silverdale is very important to us. While many parents use the school’s bus transportation program, some parents prefer to drop-off and pick their child up from school. If you wish to use the car line, please complete the form that you will be given along with your temporary transportation tags the first few days of school and return it to school. A copy will be on file in the office and the classroom teacher will be notified of your selection.
For families that choose to pick-up/drop-off their children by car, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:
-Student drop-off begins at 8:10 AM
-Student pick-up begins at 3:20 PM
-Students who arrive after 8:30 AM must be checked-in through the front office. Parents are required to sign them in. Please plan on parking and walking your child in.
-Upon arrival, please fill in the four lanes beginning with the back row first.
-You will be directed by staff as you arrive. Please follow their directions for movement.
-Parents should remain in their vehicle.
-Ensure your pickup tag* is clearly visible on the front right side of your dashboard. If we are not able to see your car tag, you will be asked to park and go to the office to pick up your child. If you need more than the two provided tags, please contact the office. Temporary cards will be provided in drop-off lane during the first few days of school. Please CLEARLY fill them out prior to picking up your child(ren) in the afternoon.
-Students will always be placed in the backseat unless you specify otherwise.
-If you have a car seat in the back passenger position, please pull your passenger side forward so your child can make it through.
-Kindergarten parents should practice buckling and unbuckling with their student to ensure a safe ride.
*Temporary tags will be used the first two weeks of school. Please clearly print your student name(s), grade level(s) and teacher name(s) on the tag. Your tag will be replaced by the expiration date stated in the upper right hand corner of your temporary pass.
Sincerely,
