Christmas 2019

Merry Christmas & Seasons greetings from The Peak School Library

Big picture
As the end of term gathers pace each day, the calm and serenity of the library remains unshaken. We have all your Christmas favourites ready to be retold and shared, The Snowman, The night before Christmas, The Grinch who stole Christmas and of course what would Christmas be without Dicken's 'A Christmas Carol'. We also have some new books waiting to be discovered as firm favourites, like 'Dear Santasaur', 'The Hungry Caterpillar's Christmas Eve' and 'The Christmasaurus"

Library Volunteers

On the afternoon of 2nd December we had a festive time in the library with our volunteers. We are so grateful for the time they dedicate making sure all our resources are in place and accessible. To be honest it feels more like a party than working, as we had Christmas music playing and mince pies and other festive treats. The afternoon ended with the decorating of our Christmas tree. It was so much fun, if you didn't know it already - the library really is the place for festive cheer.

If you'd like to join the team of library volunteers and share in our activities, please use the contact details below to get in touch and join our group. We welcome weekly and one-off support in the Peak School Library.

Borrow books for the holidays

Big picture
Library users at Peak School are welcome to borrow books all through the holidays. In addition to our Christmas collection there are also all our regular collection of books and other media available too.

Please be sure to return all your books the week of 9th December so that you can borrow books for the holidays, as any children with books outstanding on their accounts will not be permitted to borrow any more books.

We do hope that your holidays are full of family, friends, fun and of course lots of books too!
