Silver Oak is a member of the Sonoma Co. SELPA, and their Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is having a meeting on November 18, from 6-7 p.m. View the agenda and how to participate here. All meetings are open to parents, teachers, students and community members interested in special education in our schools.
The CAC's goal is to ensure that all Special Education students succeed in maximizing their potential, receive the best possible education, and have equal access to all services. The CAC serves as a liaison between Golden Oak Montessori’s SELPA as well as the Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE), and is made up of local districts, families, community members, students, and teachers, so that all voices are heard.
