Superintendent's Message
Dear JUHSD Community,
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving break filled with family, friends, and fun!
As we enter into December with the peak of flu and cold season upon us, it is important we do our optimal best to prevent widespread flu within our schools. If your student experiences cold or flu symptoms, we encourage them to stay home and report this absence to their school's attendance office.
Though this time of the year feels more 'normal' than last, COVID-19 is still active in our community. We encourage our students to take COVID tests on a regular basis, especially when not feeling well. If your student needs a COVID test, please have them ask their school's front office for one.
If a COVID tests yields a positive result, JUHSD students are asked to fill out this form, stay home, and report this absence to their school's attendance office. For additional COVID-related information, please visit the District’s COVID Response Page.
We thank you for your support in keeping our district healthy and well. Please have a restful weekend and know that my door is always open.
Warmly,
Toni Presta
Superintendent

Terra Nova High Drama Production
Terra Nova High School's Drama Department is proud to present the absurd classic "Rhinoceros" by Eugene Ionesco. Join Berenger, a likable guy who stands up for humanity in a world gone mad! As our hero's friends start changing into beasts, he slowly embraces the things that make life worth fighting for. This comical take on fascism and conformity is more relevant today than ever! Terra Nova Drama goes BIG as "Waiting for Godot meets Jurassic Park!"
