OWENS COUNSELING CORNER
ALIEF ISD
October 2021
Hello Jaguars,
It is hard to believe that September is already over, and that cooler temperatures are arriving. We hope that you have settled in to the school routine and that you had the opportunity to meet with your counselor for the minute meetings. We have been busy in the counseling office making sure students are set up for success this school year. Please feel free to contact your counselor with any questions or concerns you may have.
Remember your Counselors are here for you !

COUNSELING SUPPORT FOR TEACHERS
Optimistic October 2021
Especially when things are feeling a bit tough, it can help to set some goals.
Making goals achievable and ensuring that you have a few short term as well as longer term, more ambitious goals helps us feel we're making progress. It doesn't matter if your goal for the day is something really small, the important thing is to give yourself the opportunity to feel like you've achieved something and to celebrate that! This month's calendar is full of ideas to help you think about how you can put this into practice.
