"Proud Mouse" Sisters Perform
Sprague School hosted acclaimed writer Cara Mentzel and Tony Award-winner Idina Menzel for an assembly where they promoted their latest book, "Proud Mouse." Sprague got on the the "Proud Mouse" sisters tour, as they are called, through a relationship the PTO has with ABC Book Fairs, which gave the district access to well known authors. The pair read from their book, sang songs, and later autographed books. Watch a brief video of the pair singing the song, 'Let it Go', and see some of the action pictures of the sisters presenting to Sprague children.

Educational Technology Appreciation Day
Please take a moment to celebrate all the ‘techies’ in your school who are behind the scenes making sure your classrooms run smoothly with educational apps installed, devices operating, high speed internet connectivity, and so much more.
The celebration on Friday, Sept. 22, includes a wide range of hardworking professionals such as technology specialists, network administrators, webmasters, data managers, technology coaches, administrators, and others. You might quickly think of all the professionals who help facilitate your teaching and your students’ learning. Showing them how much they matter is the purpose of Educational Technology Appreciation Day.
Education Technology Appreciation Day is important because our technology teams play a critical role in providing rich learning opportunities for our students. Long hours of work and planning go into the set up and maintenance of networks, hardware, software, and other elements necessary for digital learning. The establishment of a day honoring technology staff communicates our appreciation of their efforts and their importance in our schools.
“Please join me in celebrating our creative and innovative Instructional Technology Team members who dedicate their time to supporting so many different stakeholders each and every day. This team tirelessly looks for ways to better support the systems and people that make up the incredibly special learning and working environments within D103,” said Craig Chatham, Director of Technology and Assessment.
