Principal's Message
A huge Paws Up and thank you to our Student Council and their advisors Mrs. Robinson, Mrs. Hakes, and Mrs. DePeaux! The "Who-liday" family night was so much fun, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. One of the things I was most excited for this school year was to see the new and creative ways our new spaces at school could help build a strong community of families and learners. Thank you to all who attended.
The first report card of the school year was posted to Family Access last Friday. A report card is one-way teachers communicate with families and students. The following tips may be helpful to you in discussing the report card with your child:
- Remember, relinquish your attachment to the grades, they belong to your child, not you.
- Set aside time discuss the report with your child without distractions
- Ask your child what they are proud of and what they would like to improve on.
- Discuss goal setting for the next grading period, steps they could take, and how you can support. Are the goals reasonable and challenging?
- Encourage your child and tell them what you are proud of on their report card and celebrate together.
To view your child's report card:
- Log into your Family Access Account
- Click on "Open Family Access"
- Click on "Report Cards"
- You will be asked to add an Electronic Signature
If you have any questions about viewing report cards, please contact the school office at 262-560-8005. Thank you for your support!
Mr. Schreiber

Updated Look to Music Report Cards
Elementary Communication to Parents about Report Cards
The OASD elementary music teachers are pleased to announce a “new look” to the music section of the report cards. The past three years we have been revising instructional strategies and curriculum to improve student learning and achievement. The updated music curriculum reflects these changes by focusing on four parts of the artistic process identified in the National Core Music Standards (see report card below for descriptors): creating, performing, responding and connecting (combined). Students will be engaging in all musical processes throughout the school year. The Perform and Respond/Connect will be reported all three trimesters and Create will be reported in the third trimester only Please take time to discuss with your child their achievement in music and thank you for igniting your child’s interest in the arts.
Perform: T1 T2 T3 (all 3 trimesters)
Create: T3 only (fill in NA or shaded for T1 and T2)
Respond: T1 T2 T3 (all 3 trimesters)
