Student Chromebooks
6-8 grade students who will be attending a BSD school in the fall should keep their device for the summer unless they prefer to turn it in. They should be prepared to bring it with them, to the Beaverton school they will attend, (charged and ready) in the fall.
Any family using a district issued hotspot will need to return the hotspot as soon as the school year ends. Hotspots will “turn off” at the end of the day on the last day of school. Please return it to the school on Monday, the 21st, or sooner if you no longer need it. Hotspots will be reissued in the fall. If you are missing any parts, please contact Mrs. Nystrom.
Any students not returning to BSD in the fall need to turn in their Chromebook (with stylus and power cord) to their school as soon as school gets out unless they’re in summer school, in which case they’ll turn it in at the end of summer school.
Any student whose device is damaged should send an email to shd@beaverton.k12.or.us that includes the following information as soon as possible:
Name
Contact information (phone number)
School
Student ID
Description of the issue
We understand that there will be some wear and tear. If you turn it in at the end of the school year, it may be repaired over the summer.

Looking for Summer Activities to Sharpen Skills?
The district has invested in a variety of digital resources for students to use this summer to keep skills sharp and to support learning.
Here is a link to that page: https://sites.google.com/beaverton.k12.or.us/home-access/english
Be advised that depending on the length of licensing rules, a few of these services may conclude at different points throughout the summer. Each link has a clear indication of when the license ends for our students if there is an end date.
