We had a lot of unique learning experiences in addition to the trips this week. Our kindergarten class welcomed new chicks which were live streamed and families could watch as the chicks hatched overnight. Mrs. Rice our band director organized an all-school assembly, three members from the Elgin Symphony Orchestra performed for us Monday morning and Mrs. Fatta, our orchestra director, planned a performance of our 3rd thru fifth-grade orchestra students which highlighted Baby Shark where staff members danced to the lyrics. Next Monday our 5th-grade band students will have their evening concert and our first and third-grade students will have their music performance on Tuesday evening at 6:00. In addition to fine arts programs, Lincoln hosted its 7th annual Wellness Fair, it was a wonderful community event with booths, demonstrations, and interactive activities for all.
Please review our upcoming dates because there are a lot of events over the final few weeks of school.

Lincoln Highlighted in Kane County Connects
Some highlights are regarding the architect and his approach to designing our school.
The classic features of Lincoln Elementary have led to it becoming the cherished treasure of the St. Charles community that it is today. Gray adopted the philosophy of making his school buildings feel like home for students. For this reason, the school still features beautiful wooden and glass storage cabinets, vibrant murals, detailed stonework, large windows, and even a fish pond in the Kindergarten classroom.
