Jan. 6th: Jump Rope for Heart

We will be participating in Jump Rope For Heart from January 6 - 16, 2015. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the American Heart Association. The students will get to learn more about being heart healthy and physically healthy while playing fun games and activities. This year the students will be able to earn ducks as well as prizes for their donations. Practice jumping to keep your heart pumping!

The Core Essential for January is Commitment – making a plan and putting it into practice. Please join us in wearing the color purple on Fridays in January.

PTA News: Join us for Wolfpack Family Fitness Night this Thursday at YES! Fitness from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. For more information and to register, visit . This event is hosted by TWE PTA and YES! Fitness FREE of charge! Registration will be open to the first 250 registrants.

2015 Parent Input: Instructional materials for grades K-12 Social Studies, grades 9-12 Math and grades K-12 Fine Arts are being reviewed and selected this year for implementation in the 2015-2016 school year. Instructional materials under consideration will be on display during business hours for parent and community input at the Education Support Complex from January 12-23, 2015. In addition, instructional materials will be available for review from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015 and Tuesday, January 20, 2015.

Parenting with Love & Logic classes will be offered this spring at Wilson Elementary. There will be 5 sessions on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m; Jan. 27th, Feb. 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th.
