Improve Your Health by Reducing Screen Time
Slim Your Screen Time is a free at-home, self-guided program designed to help you improve your health by reducing screen time. Less screen time allows you to increase your physical activity, build social relationships that contribute to resiliency, and improve your mood and mental health. Through the program, you will be encouraged to play, explore and connect more. Participate on your own or with family, friends or as a group. Make the most of life by living fully — present and in the moment. Don't miss out on the fun and beauty that is happening all around you.
How it works
The challenge runs for two months and will begin when you register for the program. Complete 30 or more activities from the list of nearly 100 ideas. Complete them when it works best for your schedule, and check completed activities off the provided checklist for a fun way to track your progress.
Two ways to participate
Because you can complete the program at any time of year and from anywhere, there are two checklists designed for varied weather. Try the warm and sunny list, or the cool and snowy list.

You'll receive three emails along the way:
A welcome email with the free printable or interactive digital checklists.
A midpoint email with motivational content.
A final email with a survey to help evaluate the program.

Employee Health Promotions is made possible through a partnership with South Central Service Coop and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota. It is the promotion of health and wellness activities for employees of Mankato Area Public Schools. This work influences the physical, mental, economic and social well-being of employees and in turn the health of their families and our community.
