Holly Academy's mission is, "To achieve individual academic success for all students through a positive family/school/community partnership". To touch base with how we are meeting our mission for our new families, we are holding a "town hall meeting" on November 13th at 8:00am in the media center. If you are a new family to Holly Academy please join us for coffee, donuts, and a discussion around if we are meeting your needs. Your feedback is critical to our success. Power of the Pack!

In honor of our veterans, we will be having an additional dress down day on Monday, November 11, 2019. All funds collected will be donated to Wreaths Across America, a non-profit organization that organizes the wreath laying at our Veterans' cemeteries across the nation. Our monies will be used to purchase wreaths to be placed at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.

This $1 dress down donation was not included in the yearly payment. Please send in $1, or more if you would like, with your child on Monday, November 11th. Additional donations may be dropped off in the office.

Thank you for helping us honor the memories of our heroes. Power of the Pack!

Administration "Fun Facts":

  1. Ms. Kildee was born in Wales and immigrated to the U.S. when she was five. Upon arrival in Detroit she was most disappointed that she didn't see any cowboys and Indians (the only thing she knew about America)!
  2. Mr. Kander was a track star in high school, and even received a Varsity letter in his freshman year!
  3. Mrs. Potteiger has moved 12 times in her life and lived in five states!
  4. Ms. Burns adopted a two day old bobcat when she lived in Montana (and named it Montana); the bobcat was part of the Burns family for 10 years!

John Sabato was elected Senior Homecoming King at Fenton High School! Congratulations, John! Once a Husky, always a Husky!

With winter approaching, some students are in need of basic outdoor attire. The Caring Committee will be setting up a donation table in the main hallway for winter outdoor clothing. We are asking for gently used coats, snow pants, boots, and hats/gloves to benefit our students at Holly Academy. The Caring Committee will be accepting these donations from Monday, November 11th through Monday, November 25th.

Through HAEF, you can leave a lasting imprint for your child on Academy grounds. A personalized paver is a permanent way to document your child’s years at Holly Academy. Pavers ordered this school year are installed over the summer. Students returning to HA next fall will enjoy finding their pavers and seeing it as they grow throughout their years at the Academy.
