Free School Lunches ENDING May 27th!
School meals have been free for all students nationwide for the last two years. As of now, this waiver will end for all students attending LSR7 on the last day of school, May 27, 2022. If your child is attending summer school and you feel you may qualify for free and reduced meals, please fill out an application online at: www.myschoolapps.com. You will receive a notification via email within two business days regarding your eligibility status. Please check your spam and junk folder if it is not in your inbox. A paper application may be obtained at any of our schools as well.
If you have friends/family members who are residing with you temporarily and they are currently on SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) or TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), your children attending LSR7 may qualify for free and reduced. Please fill out an application with the recipients SNAP or TANF DCN (Document Control Number) for the State of Missouri. The State of Missouri does not approve students for free meals based on receiving Medicaid. All Medicaid recipients should fill out an application to see if they qualify by income.
Filling out an application for free and reduced meals now is only for the remainder of this school year, 2021-2022, including summer school. An application for school year 2022-2023 will need to be filled out after July 1st, 2022.
