Parent Meeting this Monday! What would you like to see for our school?
I hope you all have marked your calendars for our meeting this Monday! Together we can create a school year our students will never forget. Discussion topics will be:
Big Events such as:
- Halloween Carnival
- Thanksgiving Potluck
- Sugar Plum Bazaar
Fundraising ideas for:
- After-school programs
- Field Trips
- Middle school swimming
- Meals for students
The floor will also be open for you to share your interests and ideas for the school.
Next School wide event this Thursday- International DOT day Sept. 15th Wear or make a dotted T-shirt
On this day, we will celebrate courage and creativity. This day is based on the book the Dot By; Peter Reynolds. It is an incredible story about a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust her abilities. She is encouraged to be brave enough to "make her mark." What starts with a small dot becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage. This is for all ages. I encourage you all to join the challenge, be creative and artistic with your family and make your mark.
