A Note From the Principal
We are gearing up for our annual One School, One Book events to begin next week! One School, One Book (OSOB) is basically a school-wide book club. Every student at Munson will receive their own copy - to keep! - of a book (which is a mystery until we reveal it during a special assembly on March 3), along with a bookmark, a reading calendar, trivia questions, and details about a contest that will run throughout the 3 weeks. Each night you'll be asked to read short chapters from the book WITH your child. We will also post podcast recordings of staff members reading each section every day. We hope that enjoying this book together will be a special bonding experience, both at home and at school!
One of the highlights of OSOB is Family Literacy Night, which is held at school and includes tons of activities, crafts, games, and more fun for the whole family. It will be on Tuesday, March 14 from 6-7:30pm. More details will come soon, but please note now that you MUST RSVP to this event so that we can plan properly. There will be prizes and goodies, but ONLY for attendees who RSVP ahead of time! We look forward to seeing you there!
Thank you,
Mathew Prezioso

If your family qualifies, your student(s) will receive a free breakfast and lunch every school day, and academic fees will be waived.
