from 3:00-5:00 to read your own poems or poems of others that sustain you. Come, and if you prefer, listen to others. The reading is open to all in the WSU community (students, faculty and staff) and the community at large. Let's celebrate what can be found in poems. One Poem series is meant to foster a community of writers, readers, and listeners. Please join us.

Please join our student artists; the Visual and Performing Arts department; the Diversity, Inclusion, Affirmative Action, and Equal Opportunity Office; the Office of Communications & Marketing, and the entire campus community in celebrating the official debut and viewing of the completed student murals now gracing the walls of the student center.

What: New Student Mural Reception
When: Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 11 am to 12 noon
Where: Student Center, First Floor

The event will include welcoming remarks, light refreshments, time to talk with the artists about their process and vision, and displays of the artists' statements. All are welcome to attend!

Travel with the Chorale to Ireland this May

The WSU Chorale is traveling to Ireland this May 20-27, 2019 on concert tour, and the trip is open to other students as well. The trip will feature many wonderful sights like the set of the Game of Thrones and the shipyard where the Titanic was built. We will be touring Dublin, Belfast and Derry, among others.

Audition for Sondheim: Putting it Together

Audition to participate in this musical review where you'll perform music from Sondheim's musicals such as Sweeney Todd, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods and more. Auditions open to the entire WSU population. Performances take place on April 26 and 27 at 8 p.m., April 28 at 2 p.m.
