COMING TO SCHOOL TUESDAY, JANUARY 11
Reminder that there is NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Monday, January 17, to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
CANCELLED— Campus beautification and clean up day, ternate lively scheduled for January 22, 2021 from 8 AM - 2 PM, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a future date. This will allow us to be better prepared for the work to be done, and to focus on completing our SEEDS Grant application.

SPRING ENRICHMENT
Student registration for Spring Enrichment is now open until January 21st. Fun and exciting virtual enrichment opportunities after-school and Saturdays are available for all students. Classes start the week of February 7. Please go to http://enrichment.lausd.net and register today!
REED MOBILE VACCINE CLINIC
Reed MS is hosting the Los Angeles Unified School District Mobile Covid Vaccination Clinic 1/10-1/21/22 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, including first doses, second doses, and booster shots! Appointments can be made through the Daily Pass and Walk-ins are also available! Students CAN get a shot without a parent present IF the appropriate waiver is signed. To give consent for your child to receive a COVID vaccination in school, download this form to sign and turn in to the front office at your school or give consent electronically on the Daily Pass when booking a vaccination appointment. Please check in at the Sarah St gate to enter room 134 for vaccines.

Quarantine Protocols for Positive Cases & For Close Contacts
NEW - TESTING TO RELEASE FROM ISOLATION/AT-HOME QUARANTINE
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and you are asymptomatic, and you wish to take a rapid antigen test on or after Day 5 of your isolation period to return early to work or school, please visit a designated site Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM to 4:30 PM. Sites are walk-in only (no appointments) and will be available starting Tuesday, January 18.

NEW MASK RECOMMENDATIONS
Masking will be required at all times, indoors and outdoors. It is strongly recommended that all students wear well-fitting, non-cloth masks with a nose wire. Here is a quick video on how to "Knot and Tuck" surgical or surgical style masks to improve fit and protection!
OTHER COVID SPRING SEMESTER UPDATES
Weekly testing will continue for all students and employees, regardless of vaccination status, through the month of January. For more information on this and other policies, please visit achieve.lausd.net/spring2022.
HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR CHILD'S VACCINATION, BOOSTER, OR MEDICAL EXEMPTION
Vaccinations remain a key element in reducing the impact of COVID-19 on individuals and communities, and will be required for students 12 and older at the start of the Fall 2022 semester. Anyone 5 years or older is eligible for the two-dose Pfizer vaccine. Booster shots are available for anyone 12 and older, at least five months after their second dose. For information on available vaccination sites, please visit lausd.net/covidvaccineappt.
