Project Idea - Flower Gardening Poster
Make a poster promoting flower gardening! The size should be 14" x 22" either vertical or horizontal. Poster may be in any medium: watercolor, ink, crayon, etc. as long as it is not 3-dimensional. Posters using copyrighted material will not be accepted. Entry card must be stapled to the upper right-hand corner. The 4-H member's name, age, county, and years in the project(s) must be on the back of the poster. This will be entered in the horticulture area.

Pick Up State Fair Static Exhibits
After the State Fair, entries may be picked up at the Extension office from Wednesday, September 6 through Friday, September 8 from 8 am – 4:30 pm.
Please pick up items NO LATER than Sept. 8 as we do not have room to store them.
Kitchen Science - Register and Pay by Sept. 15
In this engaging workshop, youth will learn the why and how behind the making of some of our favorite foods. By conducting a series of mini food science experiments, youth will learn the science behind making ice cream, popping popcorn, changes in water density and carbonated fruit (Yes, CARBONATED fruit!). The kitchen science workshop is open to ALL youth 5-18. Sign up today!

• Platte Valley Kennel Club will cover ALL fees for you to get your dog AKC registered! (you dog does NOT need to be a purebred, they have other types of registrations for non-purebred dogs!)
• Any 4H dog person also registered with AKC as a Junior and the dog is AKC registered, can enter regular AKC classes in the trial for only $10.

Tthe 19th annual Nebraska Youth Beef Leadership Symposium (NYBLS) here at the Animal Science Complex on November 17 – 19, 2023. If an individual is selected to participate, a $75 registration fee will be collected at that time.
