Regina Jr Sr High Newsletter
From the Principal
Hello Regina Community,
The weather does not show it, but Spring is upon us. We have 2 months left in our school year and the time is sure to fly by with all of the activities going on at Regina. Our seniors leave for their senior trip on April 1st, spring sports will kick into high gear, and prom is at the end of the month.
The Easter season is also here. As we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, it is important to look inwards and ask ourselves what are we doing with this great gift. We are called to bring love, peace, and hope to all of those we encounter. We are not called to find or call out the faults of others. It is through our love for others that we can help those in need.
I found this Easter Prayer for Teenagers, but I thought it applied to everyone. If we all live our lives with Jesus as our hero, then we should follow the examples that Jesus gave us to guide us on how we should treat others.
Jesus, you have overcome death And conquered every fear I could imagine.
Help me to live each day remembering that You are alive,
That You are bigger than anything or any situation,
And that Your power is real.
Jesus, you're my hero and I'm walking with you.
