Hindsight is 2020
Families,
I've seen a lot of entertaining pictures and commentary on how 2020 can and should be the year we forget. And, despite the fact that I am also ready to move into 2021, there is value in looking back and reflecting on 2020 not only for what went well, but also what was learned.
It is a common phrase to say that hindsight is 2020, because we can all see perfectly-what should have been done--after an event has passed. We can see how a strategy worked or failed. When reflecting on 2020, there are lots of things that I would have changed. But, I am very happy with the collaborative decisions that were made for student learning and safety in 2020.
One thing that I know will continue into 2021 and the future is the collaborative problem solving that has been demonstrated at both the building and district level.
Together we can.
Together we will.
