Newsletter 13, Week 5 Term 3
Waiau School ⎪ 26th August 2022
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Kia-ora,
Last week we were very fortunate to explore our own backyard more specifically Mt Lyford. It was a fantastic experience for our whole school, made possible by our Trail Ride Fundraiser. I particularly enjoyed watching our students develop and fine tune their ‘on snow’ skills over the course of the day and the sheer grit each and everyone of our tamariki displayed was amazing. Our facebook page has some wonderful photos of the action on piste.
A huge thank you to all of the parents (& Hannah) who came up and actively supported our awesome students.
Keep warm and dry,
Megan

PhotoLife Studios will be visiting next Tuesday the 30th of August to take the school photos for this year. Each class will have a class photo taken, all children will have individual photos and siblings will be photographed together.

Internet Support
As part of the Ministry of Education connectivity drive we have been asked to check with our school community to see if any families need assistance with internet connectivity. If this applies to you please get in touch with us by Monday 29th August. We may be able to access some assistance for you.
