FROM THE HEAD'S DESK
The boys have had their vote (thanks to Mr Wilding for setting up the ballot papers) and we have a very strong view that we should stay in Europe 71.2 % voted that way, a 40 % turnout and no spoiled ballot papers, we will continue to watch the debate and see if the UK vote mirrors ours.
As the rain has just started and the temperature is dropping we have decided to postpone the sponsored Sleep Out which will now be held after Year 11 have sat their GCSE's.
I look forward to meeting the parents of Year 8 next Thursday at their son's progress evening and I hope that the weather improves for the upcoming Rowing, Sailing , Athletics and Cricket Fixtures.
A reminder that we have the Whole School Photograph next Friday so a good uniform turn out would be appreciated.
And with the temptations to find the new gate codes..
“Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it. If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.” Terry Pratchett 'Thief of Time'
