By May 1, all evaluations must be "accepted" and completed, noted by ALL green checks.


If you do not have all green checks, please see the administrator who conducts your evaluation prior to this Friday.

Staff Development Logs

All teachers and staff are required to have your 20 hours of Staff Development for SY 2015 by May 1. Please remember to log any staff development you participated in outside of a section registered in PD&E through the electronic staff development roster in the Portal. If you have any questions or need support, please see me so we can look at your transcript/staff development log together.

2015 Teaching and Learning Conference-Registration is Open!

This year Gwinnett County Public Schools will host the first annual summer conference for Teachers--bringing together the following multiple content areas, grade levels and special populations:

Why Should I Participate?

The Teaching and Learning Conference provides an opportunity to create common knowledge / language for all GCPS teachers to ensure fidelity of instructional implementation at the school level.

Participant Outcomes:

To deepen teacher content and pedagogical knowledge to identify appropriate instructional practices.

To provide relevant tools and resources to immediately implement in the classroom.

To increase ability to use technology tools to enhance instruction.

To promote engagement and connect with students and peers.

Awards Night

Ms. Cochran is sending out weekly communication regarding awards night on May 4 at 6:30 PM. A BIG thank you to Ms. Cochran and Ms. Oliver as they help our grade level prepare for this special celebration of our students. If you have any questions, please see them. Thank you all for your attention to detail and preparation as we near this special event.

Hull Middle School 3rd Annual Career Fair

Save the date! Hull Middle School's third annual career fair on Thursday, May 14. Our theme this year is Navigating the Road to Success. We look forward to engaging our students again this year! Please see Ms. Hyatt, Ms. Aschoff, or Mr. Zorn for more information.

Thinking Forward...

Beyond the Core Staff Development during Pre-Planning SY 2015-2016:


The Curriculum and Instruction team will be offering pre-planning staff development sessions for our teachers who work in the beyond the core areas (Fine Arts, Health/PE, Foreign Language, ESOL, Special Education, Gifted, and CTE) on August 5 at the following times:

Middle School/High School Teachers - morning session (8:00am - 12:00pm)

Elementary Teachers - afternoon session (1:00pm - 5:00pm)

The specific location and session information will be provided in a subsequent message.

Who's Got Talent

We are excited to announce Hull's Talent Show on May 15 at Sugarloaf Methodist Church. Please join us as we showcase our teachers and students. Come on out and show us what you've got!
