Welcome parents! Thank you for taking the time to check out our end of September newsletter. It has been a very successful month of school for 7th grade, we started a reading challenge, wrote our first essay, explored some classroom technology, and took our Global Scholar tests! I am very proud of everyone and continue to be impressed with their work ethic and willingness to try anything!

Goals for Next Month:
- Become more comfortable with BYOD and other UMS wireless or non-wireless technologies
- More involvement in the weekly challenges
- Continue to improve reading and literacy with the 50 Book Challenge
- More students accessing online resources when they are absent or missing work
- Improved vocabulary participation and test scores
Upcoming Due Dates!
Event Information
RAtB Project (HAL/HONORS) Due!
The first project for Read Across the Board is due (for Honors and HAL students) this coming Friday! I can't wait to see the different timelines/posters and how creative everyone is! Here is a link to the RAtB page on the class website, in case students need another copy of their project information.
