Mid Week Announcements
Memorial Baptist Church
Children's and Youth Christmas Program
Come see “A Tree Lot Christmas” performed tonight by our children at 6:00 pm and Sunday, Dec 20 at 6:30 pm. We will also be collecting donations for the Firemen’s Cheer Fund. They always have between 25 and 100 children that fall through the cracks or get added late that they need to provide gifts for after they do the normal deliveries. The firemen also make sure that anyone that comes to turning point on Christmas eve with children has something Christmas morning to open. They will take gently used toys, new toys, and monetary donations. It is not required to donate, but we would love to contribute, so those that feel led to help us with this mission please bring donations either Wednesday or Sunday evening.
We have scheduled a picture make-up day for those who may have possibly missed out during the previous picture days. Your last chance for pictures is on Thursday, January 7 from 4 - 8:50. We only have 16 slots available. Please see Kristie Murphy on Sunday to schedule a time. There is not an online sign up option available so you must schedule with Kristie.
Please keep Pastor Scott in your prayers on Monday, December 21 as he travels to Nashville, TN for the day. He will be meeting with his surgeon to schedule a date to do reconstruction surgery due to the cancer he had in 2011.
The Retired Ministers & Missionaries offering is being
collected in December here at MBC. Our goal is $1,200.00. Please give as you feel led to do so. For more information or questions please contact Dorothy Surber at 812-343-4784
We have Comcast tv capabilities in the fellowship hall. If you would like to donate money for a 70 inch flatscreen tv please mark your donation "flatscreen" and give it to Marcia Trinkle or Pastor Scott. This can be used for Super Bowl parties along with a wide range of community outreach and service project ideas. However, we ask that this be above and beyond your giving to the church. We have had $300 donated so far!
Wednesday Night Live
Sunday at 2:00pm we will be passing out our door hangers to invite our neighbors to our Christmas Eve service. Please join us if you can!
