If you have been following me on Facebook or Twitter @LScottBooks you know the second book in the Hearts of Gold Series is getting close to release! YEAH! I am in edits now and hope to release in April. Why April you say? Because April 2014 was when I published my first book, Sweet Surrender! What a wonderful, exciting, and unbelievable year this has been. Thank you so much!

I can’t wait for you to read A Star for Annie. I think it’s my favorite! However, it seems I always think the book I am currently working on is my favorite. Hummm….

I will be sharing a prologue of Annie and Carter with you soon. Just for you guys! But to hold you over here is the book description. Let me know what you think. No really, let me know what you think.

I have taken every comment and suggestion I have gotten into consideration and I try to implement as many as I can into my writing. I truly thank you so very much for taking the time to read my books and signing up for my newsletter. If you left a review where you purchased the book I doubly thank you! For a newish author the reviews you write help others to find my books.

This crazy ride I am on at this point in my life is amazing and I thank you for making it possible. I appreciate every single one of you!

Dr. Sylva Ann Gold found herself without a job and music’s headliner Carter Ryan discovered he needed a nanny for his daughter. But not just any nanny, he wanted Dr. Gold.

Annie and Carter jumped on the tour bus and clashed at every bump in the road, the chemistry between them became impossible to ignore. An innocent slip of the towel and their attraction finally reached the boiling point.

Were they victims of circumstance or was there something more?

This 55K complete novel is the second book in the Hearts of Gold Series and can be read as a standalone. Intended for mature readers.

A Brief Interview with Lizabeth Scott

1) What is your favorite kind of book to write (i.e. sheik, tycoon, etc)?

At this point in my writing career I must say...I can't decide. I know, you want an answer and I just can't give you one. I love writing about strong alpha male characters who fall hard. My heroine's are quirky and I hope lovable. Just like you and me! The concept of being swept off your feet and loved to distraction is what every closet romantic dreams of, isn't it?

2) What gave you the inspiration to write about a country music singer?

Is it just me, or doesn't everyone have a crush on a music star? Oh come one, it can't just be me! Rose was the first in the series, I knew she was going to have a Sheik thing going on. Okay, so maybe I have a thing for fictional Sheiks. Annie, I knew would be a doctor. She needed someone exciting and totally different from her life as a doctor. Plus, I really wanted to write about being on a tour bus and backstage and...and...I can't tell ya the rest but you can read about it in a few short weeks!

3) You put recipes in all of your books. Why?

Not all of my books have recipes. The Royal Vow Series features a recipe that is mentioned in the book. See how I worked that out! The entire series was a series of love and nostalgia. I put a lot of myself in those books. Nobody would know, except my sister and yes, she noticed! My mom was a phenomenal baker! She made very delicious and elaborate wedding cakes. No, I didn't inherit any of her baking genius. But I can follow a recipe somewhat. The recipes I shared are family recipes that I wanted to share. A little bit of my mamma, she would have loved that.
