A Note from the PTA President
Our founders represented women of imagination and courage. They had a simple idea—to improve the lives and future of all children. They understood the power of individual action, worked beyond the accepted barriers of their day, and took action to change the world for all children. (excerpt taken from www.pta.org)
Locally, we are excited to continue strong leadership as we finish out this year and move on to planning for the future. During our January meeting, we formed a committee to create our slate of officers for next school year (2019-2020). We will vote on these officers at our March 4 meeting at 6:30pm in the Media Center. Dr. Jeanette Cowherd, our Park Hill School District Superintendent will also be joining us at this meeting. Babysitting will be provided for school age children for free compliments of the Park Hill School District A-Plus Scholarship program. Please join us!
