February Update

Happy Groundhog Day!

I am sending this newsletter after two days of adjusted schedules due to the snow. As if the pandemic was not enough!

This newsletter is meant to highlight a few items for your planning. The February calendar is attached as well as other details regarding what is happening in the Middle School, including information about our winter sports programs.

The Middle School Student Council met with me to discuss ideas regarding student engagement during these difficult times. We will be actively trying to make some of their ideas come to life in the coming months. We are well on our way in planning a few of the ideas brought to our attention through a recent survey sent to the student body by our student council.

We have numerous events scheduled for February to help celebrate Black History Month. We will also be partnering with the Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) to help our Middle School students navigate the digital world. NOVA programs are designed to promote critical thinking skills, respectful interpersonal boundaries, and healthy relationships.
