K-5 Report Cards
For the past several years, PPS K-5 educators have used conference forms instead of the K-5 report card to communicate with families about student progress in the first quarter of school.
This year, however, we are returning to the use of first quarter report cards for all grades. This means that K-5 families will receive a first quarter report card for their children in mid-November. K-5 families will not also receive a separate conference form when they meet with their teachers for conferences later in November. Instead, conference conversations will use student work, fall assessment data, and the report card to discuss and share student progress.
Please look for communications from your child’s teacher about how to sign-up for a conference on November 21-22

Did you know?
Oregon's mild coastal climate is ideal for growing cranberries.
Cranberries grow as a ground cover in fields called bogs. Watch how growers flood the bogs to harvest cranberries in this Oregon Harvest for Schools video.
Cranberries have been an important food for Native Indigenous People for over 12,000 years. In Oregon, commercial cranberry farming began in 1885.

Drop off and Pick up
**Please be aware that our crossing patrol is up and running, please be mindful of them when using the parking lot.
Students need to be dropped off at the curb and make every effort to exit curbside.
Please make an effort to utilize the crosswalk near the 1st-3rd grade entrance.
Avoid parking in driveways, bus zone and blocking others in.
Please arrange for where your children will be picked up - a suggestion is all of your children meet in the youngest child's exit location.
We are noticing long delays to turn onto Division, please be mindful of this and patient as others pick/drop off their children.
