Montgomery Bus Boycott
Boycott
The African Americans are boycotting the buses because of what happened to Rosa Parks. They did this to economically siege the city bus system. The blacks carpooled, took taxis, and walked to work or to other destinations. All the blacks wanted were African American bus drivers, and a first-come and first-seated policy.
